PMP-CAPM Exam Prep Course (In-Class Format)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
PMP/CAPM Exam Preparation – This course exposes students and practicing project managers to the Project Management Body of Knowledge processes and standards and prepares students to take the PMP or CAPM certification exam

COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Demonstrate an ability to apply inputs, tools & techniques and outputs of the 49 project management processes tested in the PMP/CAPM exam.
Demonstrate the applied use of the traditional PMBOK Process Groups and 10 Knowledge Areas with artifacts in the initiating, planning, executing, controlling & monitoring and closing groups that are tested in the PMP/CAPM exam.
Demonstrate an understanding of the PMP/CAPM exam requirements.

CLASS SCHEDULE: Class meets in-person, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Mon.-Thurs., and 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Friday only (total of 4.5 days). Weekend lectures available . Two weekends per class.
Eligible for 35 PDU’s upon completion of the course. Total number of class hours = 35 (total hours includes class time sessions and simulations.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed towards individuals who need to prepare for the PMP or CAPM certification exam. All those who have completed their educational requirements but need to go over the course again before taking the exam.



The course is a four-day, instructor led, classroom setting PMP® exam preparation course designed to meet the training needs of individuals wishing to prepare for PMI's PMP® or CAPM® Certification Exams.

The objective of this course is to help the participants gain a level of competency required to pass the PMP® or CAPM® certification exam through a review of the concepts and terminology covered in the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
Participants will earn 35 hours (PDUs) of education toward PMI’s exam prerequisite.
Training is based on the PMP/CAPM Exam Prep as per the Sixth edition of PMI PMBOK
Courseware, student copy, practice questions, and quizzes.

The courses are led by PMP® certified experts working in the field of project management.


PREREQUISITE
PMP and CAPM Exam Preparation Course.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree must have the following:
  o Minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience
  o 4,500 hours of project management experience leading or directing project tasks
Candidates without a Bachelor's degree must have the following:
  o Minimum five years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience
  o 7,500 hours of project management experience leading or directing project tasks
35 contact hours of project education
All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission

PMP/CAPM Training Session & Certification
